Phe-Lys(Trt)-PAB is a peptide-derived linker intermediate for enzyme-responsive linker construction. The peptide sequence contributes the cleavable element, while protected side chains, activated termini, and any PAB/PABC-derived spacer support controlled assembly of the complete linker-payload structure. Its cleavage behavior is described as protease-mediated cleavage of the phe-lys peptide motif; pab/pabc derivatives can support self-immolative release. The product can be used as a modular synthetic intermediate for payload attachment or further linker functionalization, with coupling and deprotection conditions selected according to the terminal groups present in the molecule.
